Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. I often hear from clients that they’re unsure if it will help, or they feel like they need to be ten steps ahead of where they are now. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or simply feeling stuck, it can be hard to see a way forward on your own.
I take a down-to-earth, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy. Using evidence-based practices, I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique experiences, needs, and goals. No two people are the same, and your therapy shouldn’t be either. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and comfortable. I value honesty, warmth, and the power of the therapeutic relationship. Clients describe my style as easygoing and straightforward, which helps them feel at ease while making real progress. Together, we’ll work toward improving your daily life, relationships, and overall sense of well-being.

Self care is a broad term used today, but not everyone knows what to do or how to make it a reality. Therapy can be an important part of self care because like exercise, your body and mind have the opportunity to grow and be healthy.
With talk therapy, I will use a person-centered collaborative approach that will allow us to address concerns that matter to you in a way that fits your needs. If it matters to you then it’s important to me. My goal is to make sure you experience comfort, feel acceptance and find answers as we work together.
A 20 year teaching career and recent return to graduate school combined to form Stephanie’s current role as a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying).
